How long does it take to complete a BOQ?
Depending on the level of detail provided and the size of the project we typically require 7 - 21 days to prepare a BOQ with supporting documentation which has been carefully cross-checked, QAQC’d and is ready for issue to our clients.
Does Stonehaven update BOQ’s if revised designs are provided?
Yes, we can support our clients in the update of BOQ’s if the drawings or specifications are changed after our BOQ is completed.
What deliverables are provided with the BOQ?
Stonehaven provides the marked-up drawings for all BOQ measurements to demonstrate how we have taken off each measurement. If your organisation is utilising Cost X Software we can collaborate within this software, if you’re not using this software, we will provide PDF’d drawings along with the BOQ, to demonstrate our measurements.
How many days do I have to provide comments on Stonehaven’s BOQ?
Typically, we request that our clients provide any comments on our BOQ within 14 days. Stonehaven will provide a comment tracker with the issue of our BOQ’s which our clients can input their comments. This way we can respond and close-out your queries with ease.
